The Student Tourism Association at Nakhchivan State University was established in 2010 by the decision of the Scientific Council under the auspices of the Master's Degree Deanery. The primary objective of this association is to facilitate organized excursions for undergraduate and graduate students of the university to various landmarks, historical sites, and architectural monuments within Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan, and neighboring countries. Through these endeavors, the association aims to broaden students' scientific and cultural perspectives. In its inaugural year, in 2010, a group of undergraduate and graduate students embarked on a tour to the neighboring regions of the Republic of Turkey under the auspices of the association. Subsequently, in July 2011, another excursion was organized along the Nakhchivan-Baku-Gobustan-Sheki-Gabala route, allowing students to acquaint themselves with the historical, cultural, and natural attractions of these regions and to acquire relevant knowledge. The operations of the Student Tourism Association are sustained through self-financing mechanisms.
