The Student Trade Union Committee

The Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) is a student organization dedicated to unlocking the potential of young students, enhancing educational conditions, extending financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students, and addressing their social issues. It brings together students, as well as master's and doctoral candidates of Nakhchivan State University (NSU). STUC conducts systematic activities with students, organizing events to encourage active engagement in the public life of the university and the country. The organization primarily advocates for student rights, ensuring their active involvement in university life, cultural events, and social activities. It also focuses on enhancing students' educational environment, conducting educational campaigns, and facilitating the participation of talented individuals in national and international competitions, Olympiads, exhibitions, and festivals. Moreover, STUC undertakes preventive measures against detrimental habits among students and arranges cultural events with student participation. The overarching goal of STUC is to foster students' interest in academia and knowledge, cultivate healthy individuals, promote patriotism and national-spiritual values, advocate for Azerbaijani identity, friendship, and collective relations, safeguard health and safety, and effectively organize leisure time and relaxation.
