Nakhchivan State University has taken another meaningful step toward creating a greener and healthier campus — a new set of bicycles has been made available for students to use freely around the university. Placed at convenient points across the campus, the bicycles give students an easy, eco-friendly way to move between classes, dormitories, and university facilities. The initiative reflects the university’s growing commitment to sustainability, healthy living, and reducing carbon emissions. This step follows the university’s recent “Cycle to Campus Day” event, which inspired many students and staff to embrace cycling as a practical and enjoyable part of daily life. Encouraged by the positive feedback, the university administration decided to expand access to bicycles so that more students can benefit from this green mode of transportation. Students welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm. Many shared that cycling helps them stay active, save time, and enjoy the natural beauty of the campus while contributing to environmental protection. With this project, Nakhchivan State University continues to move forward with its “Green Campus” vision — promoting a cleaner environment, healthier habits, and a more connected campus community.
