A scientific-theoretical seminar titled "Healthy Life, Healthy Future" was convened at NSU with the objective of addressing the pervasive issues of drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking. Khayal Jamalov, the vice-rector for general affairs of the university, underscored the global significance of these challenges, emphasizing their detrimental impact on societal moral frameworks and values, socio-economic progress, as well as the imminent threat they pose to individual health and safety, culminating in escalated criminal activity. Subsequently, third-year students from the Faculty of Medicine, Bahriyya Mustafayeva and Aydanur Yeshibagh, led discussions during the seminar focusing on the deleterious effects of smoking on the female physiology and the multifaceted consequences of drug addiction.
