An online meeting was held between Nakhchivan State University and Erzurum Technical University. At the meeting, Rector of Erzurum Technical University, Bulent Cakmak, greeted everyone, touched upon the brotherly relations between our countries, and drew attention to the high level of relations between the two brotherly countries in all fields. Touching on inter-university relations, Bulent Cakmak emphasized the importance of implementing projects in the direction of expanding mutual and beneficial cooperation with Nakhchivan State University. During his speech, Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev gave information about the personnel potential of the higher education institution, the scientific base of the professors and teachers, material and technical capabilities, international relations, foreign universities with which he is a partner. The rector pointed out that the universities of Turkey have a special share in the international relations of the higher education institution he leads. It was stated that joint cooperation is of special importance in terms of learning the experience of the brotherly country. Elbrus Isayev touched on the important issues of future cooperation with Turkish universities in the technical field. It was noted that cooperative relations have been established between Nakhchivan State University and IBM, the world giant in information technology. According to the memorandum signed with the IBM company, the Institute of Programming Engineering will be established at the higher education institution. During the meeting, the rector emphasized that advanced world experience was studied for the Technopark to be created at the university, and in this regard, the importance of studying the capabilities of Erzurum Technical University in this field. In the meeting, inter-university social and scientific cooperation, works in the direction of implementation of joint projects were discussed. Then a protocol on joint cooperation was signed between both universities. According to the signed protocol, the obligations of the parties were discussed and opinions were exchanged on the areas of inter-university cooperation. In the protocol, ensuring scientific competitiveness, student and teacher exchange, joint research with Erzurum Technical University High-Tech Program and Research Center, Technology Transfer Office, International school under Nakhchivan State University within the framework of "Scientist Training Program" through "Erzurum Technical University Mucit Park" , organization of trainings in the field of innovative thinking, programming and robotics for college and university students, joint research and research in the fields of scientific research are defined as the main directions of activity. The rectors of both universities touched on mutual relations and discussed the perspectives of joint cooperation.
