Zero hunger


Nakhchivan State University (NSU) has made significant progress toward achieving SDG 2 by promoting sustainable agriculture and food security through various initiatives. The university’s research covers key areas such as crop improvement, sustainable land and water use, and supports resilient agricultural practices. In recent years, NSU has increased the number of conferences and webinars, providing students and faculty with opportunities to discuss best practices in agriculture. Additionally, the number of students benefiting from NSU’s food security programs reached 1,239 in 2023, reflecting the university’s commitment to meeting essential needs and supporting student well-being.
