Nakhchivan State University (NSU) is committed to SDG 1, working to alleviate poverty through a range of financial, social, and educational support initiatives tailored to students' needs. In 2023, NSU provided scholarships to 2,741 students and educational loans to over 1,000, aimed at reducing economic barriers for low-income and international students. Additionally, NSU offers affordable dormitory housing and essential resources, including food supplies during holidays and special events, to create an inclusive and supportive environment on campus. Programs focused on financial literacy and career skills further empower students to overcome economic challenges, contributing to their academic success and personal well-being. By addressing students' fundamental needs and fostering equal opportunities, NSU demonstrates its strong commitment to poverty reduction and sustainable development within the academic community.
