Training On “Trauma-Informed Education: Supporting The Psychological Well-Being Of University Students” Was Held

Within the framework of the “International Training Month,” Nakhchivan State University has organized another awareness-raising training session. At the training, Professor Aysel Ersoy from Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa delivered a presentation on “Trauma-Informed Education: Supporting the Psychological Well-Being of University Students.” The trainer emphasized that students’ psychological well-being plays a crucial role in the educational process and highlighted the importance of emotional and moral support. The professor noted that compulsory intervention should be considered only as a last resort in approaches to students. Instead, monitoring their daily functioning, correctly identifying signs of trauma, and effectively managing crisis situations are among the key priorities. The training continued in the form of interactive discussions, during which participants exchanged views on the topic.
