A new tree-planting campaign has been carried out at the Botanical Garden of the Bioresources Institute operating under Nakhchivan State University. As part of the campaign, the university staff planted nearly 2,000 saplings intended to serve as rootstocks for pomegranate grafting. The NSU’s professor-teacher body, staff of the Institute of Bioresources, and students actively participated in the campaign. The aim of the campaign is to contribute to the preservation of ecological balance, the increase of green areas, and the reproduction of rare plant resources.
