A trial simulation was held at the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a staged trial was organized in the Supreme Court with the participation of students studying Law.

Within the framework of the simulation, the trial stage of the criminal process was staged by the students of Nakhchivan State University studying Law. In the staged trial, the court review of the conviction of the person accused of theft under the relevant article of the Criminal Code was revived. In the course of the trial, conducting a judicial investigation, taking statements of the parties and witnesses, preparing a verdict in the conference room and announcing the verdict were visually demonstrated by the students. Judges of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ilgar Mirzayev, Sakhavat Beylerli and Farman Abbasov, watched the students' participation as judges. After the court simulation, the students met with the judges and the results of the staged trial were discussed. It was brought to the attention of the students that the role of such events in shaping the future professional habits of young lawyers is undeniable. During the meeting, the Memorandum signed by the Court with Nakhchivan State University was brought to attention, and it was noted that the Supreme Court of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is focused on increasing the theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge of students studying law, and it is planned to implement such projects in the future. The event ended with the presentation of certificates and taking a commemorative photo to the students who played the respective roles in the court simulation.
