Among the strategic priorities of Nakhchivan State University, the involvement of foreign academics in teaching is given particular attention. In this direction, close cooperation networks are being established, and scholars from foreign higher education institutions are engaged in teaching across various faculties. It is no coincidence that 2025 has marked the highest number of foreign scholars involved in teaching in the history of the university. In the new academic year, 31 foreign professors have been invited to teach across seven faculties. Consequently, together with visiting scholars from the previous year, a total of 50 foreign lecturers will be working at Nakhchivan State University during the 2025–2026 academic year. These academics come from prestigious universities in countries such as Türkiye, Jordan, Japan, Hungary, and others, and they will teach in fields including medicine, pharmacy, engineering, economics, international relations, law, foreign languages, and related disciplines. A significant number of them are guest professors from leading Turkish universities such as Istanbul University, Middle East Technical University, Karadeniz Technical University, Ege University, and Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. These visiting professors will deliver lectures and conduct research activities.
