Faculty and Students of Nakhchivan State University Conduct Animal Vaccination

In a farm located in the village of Alibad, sheep and goats were vaccinated against bradzot disease. The vaccination process was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agriculture, faculty members of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, second and fourth-year students of the Veterinary Medicine program at Nakhchivan State University, as well as veterinarians serving the farm. It should be noted that a polyvalent concentrated hydroxyaluminum vaccine was used against bradzot, an infectious disease that causes enterotoxemia, malignant edema, and lamb dysentery. For adult animals, the vaccine is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 2 ml initially, followed by a second dose of 3 ml after 20-30 days. Additionally, on the same day, a pathological-anatomical examination of a deceased lamb was conducted at the clinic belonging to the Department of Veterinary Medicine under the supervision of department faculty member and Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Mirvasif Seyidov. The cause of the lamb's death was investigated with the participation of students, leading to a definitive diagnosis.
