Nakhchivan State University, in collaboration with the Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Student Trade Union Committee of NSU, alongside students from higher and secondary educational institutions, convened a camp generously sponsored by Kapital Bank OJSC, marking the centennial anniversary of autonomy. Held at the Sharur Olympic Sports Complex, the camp witnessed the participation of notable figures including Majid Seyidov, Acting Minister of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Huseyn Asgarli, Head of the Department of Information Technologies of Nakhchivan State University; Rahid Alakbarli, Acting Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Elvin Balajanov, Deputy Minister; and Javanshir Zeynalov, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering of Nakhchivan State University, among others. Discussions ensued regarding the transformative potential of events and camps dedicated to addressing contemporary issues, particularly emphasizing the pivotal role of cybersecurity as a leading specialty in global discourse and the strides made in Azerbaijani universities in this domain. The camp unfolded with a series of training sessions facilitated by renowned specialists covering diverse topics such as "Cybersecurity Engineering," "Information Security in Social Networks," "Legal Aspects of Cybersecurity," "Cloud and Cloud Security," "The Road to IT," "Cybersecurity in Marketing," "Industry 4.0 Cyber Security," "Crimes and Their Analysis on Social Platforms," and "Web Programming and Cyber Security." A highlight of the camp was a simulation competition, with the winner awarded a 1500 manat course package by Baku IT Academy, while all participants received an 80% discount. Additionally, valuable gifts were bestowed upon the winners of the intellectual competition by the Student Trade Union Committee. In a culminating ceremony, certificates of participation were conferred upon the attendees, acknowledging their engagement and commitment to advancing knowledge and skills in the realm of cybersecurity.
